About The Championship

The 2026 Elite International Open Championships will bring together top-level players from around the world who share a passion for table tennis, offering them a platform to compete, exchange skills, build friendships, and grow together in the sport. Events & Entry Fees

Three main competitive events are offered at the 2026 Elite International Open Championships. All entry fees are $60.00 per player.

Mixed Teams $60.00 Team of 3-4 players with mixed doubles and singles matches
Open Singles $60.00 Individual competition for all genders
Women's Open Singles $60.00 Dedicated women's singles category

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Membership: Must be a 2026 registered Comp Plus or State Compete member of TTA, an Affiliated State Association, or an Association Affiliated with ITTF.
  • Playing Standard: Players with Ratings Central rating above 1300+, or equivalent recognized playing standard.
  • Direct Entry: Eligible for direct entry based on current ratings as of 1st March 2026.
  • Wildcards: Additional spots determined by the Tournament Committee.

Tournament Format

Mixed Teams Event

  • Team Composition: 3-4 players per team with mandatory mixed gender participation
  • Match Format: Best of 5 games per team match - one mixed doubles and four singles matches
  • Gender Requirements: Minimum one female player in mixed doubles and women's singles
  • Stage Format: Round robin groups (3-4 teams per group) with top 2 advancing to knockout

Official Equipment

All matches will be played on regulation ITTF-approved equipment to ensure fairness and consistency across the championship.

  • Tables: DHS T1223
  • Table Colour: Black
  • Nets: DHS P145
  • Balls: DHS RS40+ 3-Star plastic white balls
  • Floor: Wooden Springboard and Red Taraflex Flooring

Rules & Regulations

  • All matches governed by ITTF (International Table Tennis Federation) rules and regulations.
  • Players must comply with ETTL code of conduct and fair play principles.
  • Tournament Director and Referee have sole management authority; their decisions are final.
  • Clothing Requirements: Players must comply with ITTF regulations. Main clothing colour cannot be WHITE.
  • All rackets must be compliant with ITTF regulations. Racket control testing will be conducted.
  • Reporting Requirements: Players must report to Officials' table 15 minutes prior to their events.

Withdrawal & Refunds

  • Before 8 March: Withdrawals prior to 8 March 2026 receive a FULL REFUND of entry fees.
  • From 9 March: Withdrawals on or after 9 March 2026 are NOT entitled to a refund.
